Taizé
This was simply the most beautiful service I have ever attended. Initially I was a bit confused, but the beauty of the singing and the candles and the Eucharist eventually got me in line. I cannot express in words the marvelous beauty of it all. I went with Lurra and sat with RV. Lurra sang “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom,” which added to the sheer tranquil ambiance of the service. She can hit notes and we were kneeling; it was just very spiritual for me. I can see why someone wouldn’t like it, but I personally loved it.
Here’s a video of my favorite song that they sang at this service; it is “Stay with Me,” and it’s not in English. The tune is the same though.

I am just a reader, and I think your bog has a voice. When I first met this blog, it sounded like another voice/sign telling me to talk to my fathers about a decision I had took without their conscent. (The firsts posts I read were about href=”http://cristion.wordpress.com/2007/09/24/i-finally-told-my-mother-that-i-am-converting/”>you talking to your mother about your faith [BTW: the post I link to has an unreadable dialogue, because of the colors]).
I just have a question: What is Taizé? Is it Roman Catholic?
A fact, and another question: I am from El Salvador (Central América), where are you from?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Wish you the best.

Uhm…that depends on what you plan on telling your fathers.
Taizé is actually both Protestant and Catholic.
And to answer your last question, I’m from the tremendous state of Ohio.
